What are the top 3 questions people usually ask you about your notary services?

One of the top questions we receive is:

"Can I get a power of attorney signed without the client present?" Please note that all signers must be present and properly identified at the time of notarization, as required by Georgia law.

 

"Can I use expired documentation as proof of identification?" Acceptable ID must be valid and unexpired. However, a credible witness who knows the signer may vouch for their identity.

 

"What forms of ID are acceptable for notaries in the state of Georgia?" A passport; a federal ID, such as a military issued identification card; Georgia state ID or Drivers Licenses; a permanent resident card otherwise known as a green card.
